IT Declaration - Employee

An Investment Declaration is a provisional statement that has details about your proposed investments and expenses that are income-tax deductible. At the end of the financial year, you need to provide supporting investment proofs(which is called as IT Actuals) for these investments that you have specified in the declaration.


1. Where can I find the IT investment tab on the WorQ application?


Ans: Employee can find the "IT Declaration" option in the profile section of the application (Please refer the Screenshot)

2. Can employees submit IT declarations from the Web portal?


Ans: Yes, users can log in via their respective domains with their user credentials and submit the IT declaration using a PC or Laptop.(Please refer to the Screenshot)

3. Is there any option to Prefer for the Tax regime option in the Worq application?


Ans: Yes, during every financial year-end/start of march/April month a banner with an option for preferring existing or New tax regimes will be published on the home screen of the Worq application.

(Note: once a user opts for a particular tax regime, preference cannot be reversed from the user end side at any cost, if so employees need to reach out to their HR team for further assistance)

4. Why am I not getting the IT investment tab on my profile?


Ans: If a user is facing any of these scenarios, he/she must have preferred the New tax regime option on the banner published or IT declaration financial year setup or feature has not been enabled for them, during this, we highly recommend users to reach out to their HR to get it resolved immediately.

5. Why I am not getting the Save or submit button on my declaration part?


Ans: The deadline for submitting the declaration date might have expired so employees won't be getting any option to save or submit.


(Note: in external cases, the date can be extended for a particular user or department from the admin portal, employees/users can reach out to their HR for Further assistance in this case.

6. Declaration document received by email is reflecting a different amount than what I have declared?


Ans: In this scenario, we highly recommend users report to their HR team or support@worqhub.com to get this issue resolved ASAP.

7. Where the employee can submit IT Actuals via the WorQ app in the end of the year?


Ans: Yes, the employee can submit the IT Actuals(Proofs for IT Declaration) for the declared amount in the below path (Also refer to the screenshot)


Login --> Profile --> IT Investments - Actuals
