Leave & Holiday - Customer Admin

Leave is a feature enabled for a respective employee to avail and know the paid leaves on different categories assigned to them by their organization.


1. How to enable the Leave feature for an existing and new customer in Super Admin?

Ans: Leave feature can be enabled for the new customer while creating a customer profile from the super admin portal and by clicking on the Action -> edit option available on the existing customer profile.

2. Can we configure the leave feature to be visible for some specific role groups in Customer Admin?

Ans: Yes, this process can be done using the Role group option available on the Setup -> Permissions -> Role Groups, where you can disable/enable the policies flag and assign this role group to the respective role group to reflect properly

3. Is the leave types displayed on the application is default or can they be configured and added additionally?

Ans: Casual leave and sick leave types are the default types available on the Customer Portal, which can be configured from the default setting, and additional leave types can be added as much as required based on their requirements.


Navigation to create new leave type:


Customer Admin-> Organization -> Leaves -> Leave Types -> Add New(Top right corner).

4. How do upload leave employee-wise?

Ans: Leave for a specific employee on each leave type can be assigned using the bulk upload option available in the leave

section. 


you can download the upload template by clicking on the "upload exception" button available on the leave types page. sample upload document uploaded below.


Customer Admin-> Organization -> Leaves -> Leave Types -> Upload Exception(Top right corner).

5. Can we set up the maximum limits and grace time for a candidate to use the leave feature?

Ans: Yes, it can be customized for each type available or created on the customer portal, by clicking on the edit option or by

clicking on Create new option if the new leave type needs to be set up.


In WorQ leave feature, you can customize and publish leave for employees based on a Role group, Work Location, Department, and Designation.

6. What does workflow mean on the customer admin portal available on the leave setup page?

Ans: Using the workflow option on the leave setup page, the leave feature can be displayed to the respective role group member available on that assigned category.

7. Can the leave count be uploaded for unassigned leave feature-enabled employees?

Ans: No, the Leave feature will be visible only for people who have the feature-enabled role group assigned to them, even though you upload system will prompt an error message on the uploaded file failed message.

8. Can an employee view leave applied status and leave counts available for them?

Ans: Employees can find the leave balance available on each leave type in their application under the profile section or quick links for navigation.

9. How can an employee apply for leave in the Worq application?

Ans: Employees can apply for leave from both the web and Application. they can find the Leave section available in the Profile section and quick links and as well as they can find the leave option in the Home category in the Web portal.

10. Where can we download the employee leave balance report and availed report?

Ans: Customer admin can download the leave balance report from the leave balance button available on the leave type page near to upload exception button and availed report can be downloaded from the custom report.

11. Whom we should reach out if the leave balance is not reflecting properly?

Ans: Employees/users should reach out to their HR management team or Manager for any leave balance count mismatch in

payslip or application.

12. While applying for leave system is prompting some error messages as " Unable to complete the request" or "Reporting manager not assigned" and the leave balance is not reflecting properly even after applying for leave, whom should we reach out at this situation?

Ans: Users can reach out to "support@worqhub.com" for the above scenarios with the customer name and credentials details looping in their manager for first-level verification.

13. How to upload the company holiday in Admin Portal?

Ans: In the Admin portal, the holidays can be uploaded in the below path (Refer to screenshot)


Admin --> Organization --> Leaves --> Holiday --> Add Holiday

14. How to upload the holiday in bulk?


Ans: Holidays can be uploaded in bulk in the below path


Admin --> Organization --> Leaves --> Holiday --> Action --> Bulk Upload --> Download& fill the template --> Upload file.

15. Where the employee can find my holiday list on the mobile application?

Ans: The users of the WorQ application can find their holidays list uploaded from their organization in the Quick links section

available on the Home page.

(*Note: Holiday list can be viewed only on the Mobile applications)

16. Why Holiday Option is not reflecting on my application whom should I reach if it's not reflected?

Ans: If the holiday option is not visible for you in the Quick Links section then you can inform your HR team or Manager to do the needful from their side

17. Can I update or mark a holiday from my side if it is not uploaded from my organization?

Ans: Yes, each employee can mark a holiday for the current and past day using the "I'm off" and "Regularization" options check out the below images for your reference.
