Claim - Customer Admin

The claim feature on the WorQ application allows the employee to apply for post-claim activities performed by them in different categories.


1. Where can we find the claim module in the customer admin portal?


Ans: The claim feature will be available on the Organization page of the customer admin portal with the respective sub-section available on it,


Customer Admin --> Organization --> Claims


List of sub-sections:


Category: Category is used to segregate and list the category and set the monthly limit for an employee to avail

Sub Category: Using this option admin can create subcategories for categories he has created and can set up the required

field data that the employee needs to submit for claim activity. Per-day cost/per day limit for a claim activity can be determined only on a sub-category.

Claim Policy: Using this option admin can configure the claim category and sub-category to be listed for respective

employees based on the Role group.

Taxes: This is a non-mandatory option, if customers want to have tax slabs separately for claim categories, they can define it

on the taxes option.

Claim list: On this page, the admin can able to perform claim bulk approval activity and download the claim report dump

for the current financial or from the date of portal creation.


 1. Bulk Claim Upload: Manual claim data customers had on their track can be uploaded based on the details mentioned on the template and can be uploaded and kept on track in worq.

  2. Bulk Claim Approve: Claim activities performed by users on WorQ can be approved on a bulk method using this option.

 3. Download Claim Report: The claim report can be exported using this option.

2. Does the admin have the option to manage the approval workflow for a specific claim policy?


Ans: Yes, the admin can set up an approval workflow for a specific claim policy alone. To do the same, please follow the below steps.


Step 1:

Kindly create an approval workflow in Admin --> Organization --> Approval Workflow --> Add New.

Step 2:

After creating the required approval workflow, navigate to Organization --> Claims --> Claim Policy. Click on Edit/ Add new and select the approval workflow.

3. Where can I find the claim option?

Ans: The claim option will be available in the Profile section of the Application, Refer to the below image for your reference.

4. Can employees apply for a claim from a web portal?


Ans: Employees cannot apply for claims from the web portal, we highly recommend users to use the mobile application for all activities rather than the web portal.

5. How will my claim activities notify my manager and why it is in a pending state?


Ans: For each claim employee applies for will be sent for approval to his Reporting Manager, Level of approvals may vary based on customer preference and the category your employee has applied for.

6. What happens if my claim is not approved by our Managers within a limit?


Ans: Managers always will be notified in the application about the pending approvals they need to do from his side,

if the manager has not approved it within the time limit of the policy, then Admin or HR team will take necessary actions.

7. What is the date limit set up for us to apply for a claim?


Ans: The date limit varies based on each customer and client domain, for this information, we request you to check this with your HR team.

8. Can employees perform pre-claim activities in worq?


Ans: No, employees can able to apply only for Post claim reimbursement activities in the WorQ application.

9. What are the claim types employees can avail themselves of?


Ans: Claim categories and subcategories are completely based on customer configuration Worq team or members won't be

holding any authority over it.

10. What should be done when we get an "Internal server error or unable to find the request" error message in the claim?


Ans: Kindly check whether your internet connection is stable or not, check whether you have an updated version of the

application, and try closing the app from recent tabs and try working on the claim, if the same error occurs report it immediately to support@worqhub.com with your user id, phone number and customer name you are working for with relevant issue screenshots.
